Payment problems
If you are finding it difficult to keep up with your rent payments, please call your Housing Officer on 020 7428 4328.

If you are finding it difficult to keep up with your rent payments, your Housing Officer can talk to you in confidence, help you ensure you have all the benefits you are entitled to and make an arrangement to pay off your arrears. The worst thing you could do is to ignore the problem because that could put your tenancy at risk.

Community also work in partnership with CHAS, a free and independent specialist in housing and debt advice. CHAS will assess your housing and debt problems, help with housing benefits queries, identify priority and secondary debt and agree action plans to deal with them. For more details about the ways CHAS could help, you can contact them directly on 020 7723 5928 or via email advice@chasc.org.uk .

This service is free to all Community tenants. For further information contact Jackie Nurse on 020 7428 4238 or Patrick Williams on 020 7428 4259.

You can also contact your local council for further help and information.
