Local authority housing
Toynbee operate within eight boroughs across the South East of England, each local authority operates their own housing waiting list and rehousing policy.

Toynbee has Nomination Agreements with all the Local Authorities in which we operate. This basically means that we are required to give the council 75% of all family sized properties that become empty, which is every 3 out of 4 two bedroom and larger properties and 50% of all one bedroom properties.

In order for Toynbee tenants to have access to these properties you will be required to apply to the local authority in which you would like live. This can be done by completing a housing waiting list application form, the processing and management of your application form will be carried out by the relevant local authority. This is the only way a Toynbee tenant can have access to the properties which are given to the local Authority under the Nomination Agreements.
