Benefit information
You may be eligible to claim housing or welfare benefits that can go towards paying your rent or general living expenses. To find out what you are entitled to please contact your local council or the Citizens Advice Bureau. Tenants who are in receipt of welfare benefits or are on a low income will be entitled to receive housing benefit to cover some or all of the rent due.
You will need to keep your local housing benefit office informed of any changes in your income or circumstances and respond promptly to any requests for information that you receive from them.
